OSIsoft PI-SMT Interface Node List Cleanup

In one of our PI system, i noticed there's an entry from HIS-0161 which is not supposed to be. Cleanup time... Just go to PI-SMT > Operation > Module Database and browse through the Interfaces entries.. right click and delete... The contractor who commissioned the system must have attempted to register OPC Interface from HIS-0161 and then decided to use another machine "GDC-PI-NODE-01" but then forgot or not properly "unregister" the OPC Interface using PI-ICU..

OSIsoft PI Interface Buffering Settings - Primary and Secondary Memory Buffer Size

1.      Stop the Interface and configure a buffering application (either Bufserv or PIBufss).  When configuring buffering use the ICU menu item Tools à Buffering… à Buffering Settings to make a change to the default value (32678) for the Primary and Secondary Memory Buffer Size (Bytes) to 2,000,000. This will optimize the throughput for buffering and is recommended by OSIsoft.
