Differences between PI OPC UA Connector Gen1 vs Gen2

 I was reading and familiarizing how best to get OPC UA data into PI Server.

To my surprise there is Gen1 and Gen2 PI OPC UA Connector.

Each has its pros and cons obviously..

Gen1 - Simple and conventional.

Gen2 is more complicated (for a reason).
